شوبن 2 Mazurkas, B. 16

Frédéric Chopin wrote his set of Mazurkas, B. 16, in 1826, and published them the same year. These are two pieces, in the keys of G and B flat major, without a known dedicatee. The versions of the first publication were revised versions: the original versions reached the public in print in 1875. As these pieces don't have a proper Opus number, they are usually referred to as B. 16, S 1/2, and KK IIa/2, according to its entry numbers in the Brown, Chominski, and Kobylanska catalogues respectively.
