Schütz St. Matthew Passion, SWV 479

Heinrich Schütz wrote his St. Matthew's Passion, SWV 479 in 1666, based on the German translations of Martin Luther. The work is in the dorian key of G and calls for SSATTTBB voices + a standard SATB mixed chorus.
