Wilhelm Neuland based this set of duets for piano and guitar over a very well known theme present in Rossini's drama giocoso La Cenerentola, ossia la bontá in trionfo (Cindirella, or Goodness Triumphant). This average-difficulty set of duets was first printed in London by S. Chappel, and dedicated to Miss Jenkins in its original edition.
