Zintl Improvisata Persica 'Santur'

The Improvisata Persica 'Santur' was composed in 2015 by Frank Zintl. It is a single movement, improvisation piece that intends -in the words of its author- to 'imitate the style of classical Iranian music played on the Persian hammered dulcimer.' It was developed on a digital piano employing the sound of a Persian hammered dulcimer (Santur). A standard performance takes 4 minutes.
