Te erhu is a two-stringed bowed instrument, commonly referred to as 'Chinese Violin'. It is one of the most popular Chinese strings instrument, and it features not only in Chinese traditional and contemporary music, but also in pop, rock, etc. The strings are tuned to the interval of a fifth (usually D4, A4).
